CuteEditor Ver 5.3 Insert Image/Gallery etc issues

Hi,

Everything was working fine in ver 5.1, but when I upgraded to ver 5.3, Insert Image and those kind of dialogue boxes have the strange kind of javascript bug. Whenever I click on ImageName, the url set in textbox below is "null" and hence the image in preview is broken.

Also when I set the URL manually the Image preview works fine.

I repeat everything was working fine before. Please resolve the Issue asap, I have a developer license for CuteEditor.

Parag,

Can you download the control again then overwrite the CuteEditor.dll and all the CuteEditor client files?

If the problem still exists, please send your site FTP to me.

Hi Adam,

I downloaded the new control, still the same error. We are working on a CMS application and I can't send you the code coz of company policy

However on further investigation I found dll in "Framework 2.0" dll still references mscorlib from 1.1. I guess, the dll is in 1.1 and not 2.0. Our application is .NET 2.0 Can this be cause of the problem ???

I'm experencing the same issue as stated above. I have a Developer License for the .NET Cute Editor. We are running the 2.0 framework and thus are using the dll files found in the folder "CuteEditor_for_NET5\bin\Framework 2.0". The problem happens when i try to insert an image or document via the popup and in the URL the only thing that gets displayed is "null".

If theres a fix out there please let me know.

You are correct.

I just checked the CuteEditor.dll for framework 2.0. It does have the above bug.

We've fixed this problem.

Please download the control in 10 minutes.

Yes, all you need to is replacing the CuteEditor.dll.

Adam,

Sorry for having this issue continue, but I am having the same problem, and after downloading the ZIP file from the link above, when I try to OPEN the zip, I am getting a corrupt/damaged ZIP file error.

I have tried opening the file with CuteZip (no relation to CuteSoft) and WinZip. Both programs report an error.

Can you check this file?

I've downlaoded the zip, I also got that corrupt error but it seemed to be some site connection issues or IIS problems (Service Unavailable). I've since redownloaded and replaced the dll file.

Everything works great!

OK - I restarted my machine, and re-downloaded the file, expanded the .dll overwriting the old files and all is well - Looks like that bug is fixed.
