Whole page seems to load in editor very briefly before my text loads from the database

When the editor is first shown I seem to get the whole page showing in the editor window very briefly before my content appears from the database.

Everything functions OK, just seems a little strange.

    I'm used

Private Sub Page_PreRender to laod the content from my access datanbase into the editor.

    richb78uk,

It's strange. Can you create a simple aspx page which can demonstrate the problem and send it to me?

    Hi,
It seems to have something to do with template.aspx.   It also does it when the page posts back.   I do not wish to use the save button on the editor as I have a number of buttons on the page which postback and this seems to be the issue.  (I have a button for example called "revert to live version" to reload the live content into a pre-release version.

I have javascript alert written back in the code when its save and pre-release and the whole page displays underneath until I press OK and then the proper content renders again

I  have attached some screen shots,
