We would love to have the chat in an iframe (from a separately set up chat site), and that would require it to be managed entirely through webservices. Is there documentation on the API anywhere or can we get any pointers?

 

We only need the following methods to support basic chat management:

 

Create/delete room

add users to room (!)

close room

 

i'm trying to understand the api, and there are a number of different methods and confusing concepts (channels? clients?), and very little documentation. can somebody help?
