Embeding quicktime movies

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Cute Editor for .Net so apologies if this a dumb question.

Is there any way to embed Quicktime .mov movies? The insert media button appears to use Windows Media player plug-in which, naturally, isn't playing the movie.

Thanks for any help with this.

You need to modify the security policy file. The security policy file (default.config, admin.config and guest.config) can be found in the /CuteEditor/Configuration/Security folder.

Hi Adam

Thanks for the response.

I've modifed the files so that the .mov files are available for upload. The problem is that, on a Windows based machine, the embedded code is trying to play the files in Windows media player plug-in and hence the movie won't play.

Is there anyway to have a button that will use the QuickTime plugin?
