The Paste from Word feature looks useful.

 

Is there a way to paste from Word with image(s)?

 

Similarly, is there a way to paste an image from the clipboard (without first storing it in an image gallery)?

Word stores the image in its own file system. As as web solution, we don't have permission to access it directly.  We may come with an Active-X solution to handle this request in the future release.

In this case (open a Word doc that contains both text and image(s), then select all, then copy to clipboard), I believe that the clipboard contents are an enhanced metafile -- including both the text and graphics.

 

What about the similar case of copying an image to the clipboard, then pasting into the CE? Is that any easier?
