    Invalid Object Name 'Chat_Config'

    Hello,

    I am having a little trouble installing the Chat software.

    When i try to run localhost/web or when i try to enter a connection string in the cutechat config tool, i get the following error:

    Invalid Object Name 'Chat_Config'

    I'm guessing this means there is trouble connecting to my DB? it is on a different server, and this is my connection string:

    server=192.168.99.111;database=Dilato;uid=test;pwd=test

    Has anyone else seen this error?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Dave,

    Have you finished the step 2 and step 3?

    Execute SQLScripts\cutechat2.sql against your existing database or create a new database. In the example below, the DB is called 'SamplePortal'

    • Grant your login access to the new database.
    • Open your SQL Server Query Analyzer from within Enterprise Manager.
    • Once you have successfully connected to your SQL Server within query analyzer, open and execute the Chat SQL file(SQLScripts\cutechat2.sql, SQLScripts\1_CreateTables.sql and SQLScripts\2_CreateDefaultData.sql) against your database.

    Load CuteChat configuration file

    • Open the Tools/CuteChatConfig.exe. Type in the connection string, then click the load button.
    • Click the "load configuration file" button. In the open window, navigate to Tools\import-this.xml, and click the open.
    • Click the "Save the configuration to the database" button.
