I have configured my CE as follows:
<CE:Editor id="Editor1" EditorWysiwygModeCss="../example.css" runat="server" height="700" AutoConfigure = "Minimal" ShowBottomBar="false" Text="" EditorOnPaste="Disabled"> </CE:Editor>
Minimal configuration is changed to contain only the zoom dropdown.

If I insert an image by doing the following:
document.getElementById('<%=Editor1.ClientID%>').setHTML("<IMG alt='' src='../ht-logo.jpg' style='position:absolute;'>");

and then set the zoom level to 50% I get trail marks when I move the picture around. The trail marks doesn't go away after I have positioned the image.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this problem?

I tried your demo and the trail marks disappear after I move the Image. I tried once again on my own and it still keeps the trailmarks - my version is also 5.2. Btw - when using firefox the zoom box isn't present in your demo.
But why does the trailmarks appear at all? Are there any way to get rid of them for good?

ps: The trail marks only appear when moving the image down or to the right. When moving up or to the left no trail marks are left and if the image passes over the old trail marks they are removed. This indicates that the calculated area when zoomed isn't correct. It seems as if it is of by one.

I've tried using a ActiveX component that has the same problem. It seems as if it the style.zoom that is causing the problem. As I stated before, I think the problem has to do with area that is invalidated upon moving the image. I think it is of by one.

Does anyone know if it is possible to overwrite the onMove event, and then make the right invalidation?
