Licence problem with VS2005 framework 2.0 and localhost

    Hi all.

I have a licence problem with my localhost with CuteEditor.
I checked on this forum but I didn't saw any solution.

We bought a 10 domain licence (small business licence) for our compagny.
I'm working on VS2005 framework 2.0 on my localhost before deploy our engine in futur.

The problem is the classic problem I saw in this forum but perhaps I have an idear.

When you create a new website with VS2005, you start your website with Cassini to debug it and test it.
Your url have a unique number by website like

    http://localhost:xxxx/ProjectName

where xxxx is a number (one number per website) in localhost.

And perhaps it's the reason why I have the error message (trial version. licence invalid. please buy etc)

Normaly if you have a small business licence all it's work fine with http://localhost but in VS2005 localhost have a different name with :xxxx.

And I don't want to deploy anytime my website in IIS, in local, because it's lot's of time.

have you found this problem between localhost and localhost:xxxx?
    Anyone have a solution?

Thank's in advance and sorry for my poor english :-)

    TF.

    projecteur,

I believe for some reasons you are using trial license file in your localhost.

Please find the official license file we sent to you and copy it to your project bin folder.

    Keep me posted

Re: Licence problem with VS2005 framework 2.0 and localhost

    Hi Adam :-)

I send this morning a mail containing the licence file just to check if are good (in zip file) to Karen.
I think we have a good licence.

I put the good licence in a Bin folder. No problem.
I checked if I have only one licence file. It's ok.
The problem is not when I put this file in bin folder.
The problem is when I compil again my project in VS2005.
When I press the F5 key for instance to debug a new page, I see this error message (licence invalid, it is a trial licence, etc).
Check with Karen about my licence file (zip file).

Normally it works fine since 4 month and I don't understand why since yesterday I have this problem.
    Perhaps I forgotted something?

Note, we have a same problem with ImageGallery.

The web site in local mode works with VS2005. Not after deploy all the file in IIS website.
I deploy my website on another server with precompiled option files.

Thank's Adam for your patience ;)
