What is the importance of SAVE icon in the toolbar??

    Hi All.

It would be really helpful if someone helps me in understanding as what excatly happens when we click on SAVE icon in the toobar. I guess two things...

    1. It saves the files in HTML format in the user's local machine.

    2. It saves the currently inserted template.

Also, can someone help me in the below scenario..

    1. User inserts the Templates from InsertTemplate dialogue.
    2. User makes some chsnges to the template.
in this case, is there a way that i can overwrite the changes to the current template??
    3. and how to find the path of the selected file from templatefiles

    Thanks a Million in advance

    ramu,

Which save button are you talking about? If you are talking about the save button in the template dialog, it just save the changes you made to the server.

To understand how the save button works, please check the following example:

How to capture the save button click event?

How to capture the SAVE button click event?( C# | VB )

This example demonstrates how to capture the SAVE button click event by using client-side code and server-side code.
