I'm attempting to convert HTML to PDF from vb.net  I'm using the following code, which I found in another thread (modified slightly)

 

dim content as string = "<b>Hello World!</b>"

 

dim conv as new CuteEditor.Convertor.PDF.HTML2PDF(content)

 

dim s as new IO.MemoryStream()

 

conv.RenderSinglePageContent = False

 

conv.Render()

 

conv.Save(s)

 

s.Position = 0

 

I think attach this to an email and fire it off.

 

I'm getting the error on conv.Render()

 

the error I get is:

 

Description: The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy.  To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

Exception Details: System.Security.SecurityException: System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission

Any ideas?

I think it's the permission issue.

 

Please make sure network service account or aspnet account has write permisson to the target path

.Save(path)

I'm not saving to a path - I'm using a memorystream to generate the document, attach it to an email and send it, then drop it.

I tried searching the forums for the error, didn't find it, but found this, which was close.  I followed the instructions here, even though I didn't think it would help; it didn't; http://cutesoft.net/forums/thread/29248.aspx

Also, as I mentioned before, the error occurs on the .Render() call, before the .Save(), so at that point, the path hasn't been specified anyways, so that shouldn't matter.
