I am encountering an issue with the Cute Editor when attempting to upload new images. It is to be noted however that the folder I wish to upload is big and is more than 2gb.

 

Would you have any idea on how I could improve the performance of the InsertImage functionality.

Which version of Cute Editor are you using?

 

Do you have problems with the online demo?

 

Can you put an example online so we can check it?

Version being used is 6.2.

 

I do not encounter any issue with the online demo.

 

The issue seems to be related to the folder we are attempting to upload to. This folder is more than 2 gb. It seems to me that the InsertImage UI calculates the folder size of each subfolder. This may be a functionality that might not be necessary for my case and may help in reducing the overheads.

 

Could you please tell me how I could switch off the folder size options. Any other ideas that could help in gaining in performance will help.

Can you upgrade to version 6.3 then try again?

Ibrahim and I have tried 6.3 without success.

I can see that some features will require the component to browse recursively through all the folders, which is probably why this is all taking so long to display the list.

 

Is there any way we can disable all recursive lookups, ie disabling all the limits on folder size and all?
