I have discovered that users are unable to view files (.doc, .xls, .pdf) when running the website in https.  The users can upload files and delete files from the site without a problem, but cannot view them!  This issue doesn't happen if running the site in http.

 

Error that appears is as follows:  Internet Explorer cannot download DownloadFile.Ashx from ermstraining.  Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site.  The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.  Please try again later.

 

Is the control not built to run for a secure website?

Hi,

DownloadFile.Ashx is not the part of the control.

 

So if it has problem in https , there must be some special reason.

 

We will test it and give you advise on this issue.
