I want to know one thing is there any option that i can able to get uploadfile detail information like Creation time,Modification Date from user PC.

Actually our client want to hold same information that local file have after upload also. we need to mention same information in server too.

Is there any way or any functionality alredy provide by Ajax Uploader ?

You can use FileInfo class to get all needed file information. Bellow is simple code example about how to use FileInfo class:

System.IO.FileInfo fi = new System.IO.FileInfo(FilePath);

Then you can get many information of the file.

fi.Extension
fi.FullName
fi.Name
fi.CreationTime.ToString()
fi.LastAccessTime.ToString()
fi.LastWriteTime.ToString()
fi.DirectoryName
fi.Extension

Thanks for your Quick replay

But my requirement is little bit different.
Let say, I created a file on 10^th October, 2009 in my local system so the creation date of the file is 10th October, 2009 and upload it to server on 27^th October, 2009. After Upload the file to server the creation date of the file will be 27^th October, 2009 in server. which is correct no issue with Ajax Uploader or Server but our client want to maintain the same 10^th October, 2009 as the file creation date of the file in server. So I just want to know is Ajax Uploader providing any facility to get the Client side File Info in to server. By that i can save the file in server with same info present in client side.

Ajax Uploader doesn't provide this kind of information. Please use FileInfo class to get all needed file information.

Hi,

For security reason.

Uploader is not able to get such information at client side.
