We have the latest cute editor version that is compatible with IE 11 edge mode. We are experiencing some issues with the paste feature. When we click Ctrl +V directly into the cute editor window, it inserts the word 'pasting' and also opens up a new window to insert the text into.

The issue does not happen when we click the Paste button in which case it still opens up a new window for inserting text but does not implement the word 'pasting'.

I can not reproduce this on the online demo. When I use ctrl+v to paste content into editor on IE11, it just paste directly, did not opens the separate window. Do you get the same on the online demo too?

I am not able to re-create it on the online demo. We have a test page created in our application just with the cute editor on it and no customization and the paste feature works there as well. But it does not seem to work on one of our actual pages that has some customization for some of the buttons but no customization for paste.

Can you create a new empty page and use the editor in it and do the same customization on it which makes it can reproduce this issue and send the test page url to [email protected]? so we can check there.

Hi,

So currently we have an aspx page which is using a user control ascx which has Cute editor on it. The pasting issue happens only in this case. 

If we place Cute Editor on a standalone aspx page and not have the middle layer of the ascx control then it seems to work.

We are able to recreate the issue in a standalone project having an aspx page with ascx control having Cute Editor on it.

As per your suggestion, using EditorOnPaste="PastePureText" instead of AllowPasteHtml="False" worked. You can close this ticket.
