Yes, you need to set Editor.EnableStripScriptTags Property to false.

Try your code in this example:

Hello Adam,

thanks for your reply.

Is there a way that a user can use a dropdown like "Inline style" to drop the onlick="return...." between an <a> tag

or is there a way to add this to the <a> dialog?
