My company has a lisence for their website. I had the task of putting a copy of the site onto an intranet for testing purposes. However whenever I try to open a page that contains CuteEditor, it throws this:

 

"A valid license cannot be granted for the type CuteEditor.Editor. Contact the manufacturer of the component for more information."

Please check your file structure and make sure cuteeditor.lic does exisit in your project bin folder.

 

Another option is you can copy cuteeditor.lic to the bin folder of the root.

Solution for others reference:

 

because the liscense file is technically on a different website, however it self checks to validate is matching these two liscenes. This makes sense. The solution is to use a temp license file on the test site.
