I am a single developer working for an IT department in a global company.

I develop web apps that are used internally only but need to move apps from my development machine through a development server, a user acceptance server and then finally onto a production server.

 I am confused as to which license option I would need as they nearly all state "but not on a development server)" .

 

Could someone help me with my choice?

If you use control on a single domain, the best option for you is getting a domain license.

 

If you use control on multiple web sites and they all share the same IP address, the best option is getting the IP licenses.

 

If you are a single developer and have multiple web sites, multiple servers, the best option for you is getting a developer license.
