I have seen this before, but couldnt find your response....

 

In the editor it keeps removing </li> which is breaking our W3C compliancy.

 

<ul>
    <li>wiggle
    <li>cvbxcvxcv </li>
</ul>

Is it possible to stop the editor from removing these </li>s.

Had a look at the sample, I am assuming you are using the XHTML property?

 

I am very reluctant to use this because last time we did, we found that the majority of our pages were being screwed up. This was due to the fact the HTML was either malformed or contained javascript and when it tried to XHTML it, the editor completely trashed it. We then got loads of complaints because their pages were not as they saved them. It didnt matter that their html was incorrect, they were very upset that it had changed their pages.

 

Is there not a way of making the </li> stay there in the editor as you have done with the quotes?

 

Have you any plans to make the editor leave the </li> in?
