Actually it seems to work in asp.net 2.0 in situations where the web sites are not set to medium trust (or lower). In a shared hosting environment, in order for security, they will (or should be) set to medium trust or lower. This is where the control has an issue. Adam has indicated they are going to compile an asp.net 2.0 specific version to fix this issue.
