On my site many users create documents and they all have screenshots they need to upload. I use for the screenshots Snagit and this tool generates a filename that is constructed like this: <DayNum><MonthNum><Year2><Hour24><Minute><Second>. This will give the file a unique name. I would like to have the naming of all the screenshots on my site in this format or in a simalor format. Is it possible that CuteEditor renames the file when it is uploaded and generates a file name as described? The reason for this wish is that many users don't use Snagit and have filenames like 'figure-01' and that goes wrong if that file is already available. Renaming the files is annoying.

 

I have one module on my site that does this already and that is ActiveForums 3.5.3. I can choose in the setup pages 'generate unique filename'.
