    Danish characters

When text from my database is loaded into cuteeditor the danish characters like the åchar is converted into the char code & # 2 2 9 ; (spaces added here for it to display). If I then saved back into database all the special danish characters are gone. I've tried different requestEncoding and responseEncoding in the web.config but it doesn't seem to matter on the output inside Cuteeditor.

    Any ideas?
