When I open the edit description dialog and choose to delete an image, the image is removed from the xml file but the actual image and thumbnail are not deleted from the folder.  Therefore, the next time I do an "index build" the images reappear.

 

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

 

Also, is there a way to programatically do an index rebuild?
