Thank you Adam, this is working a lot better..  however still not perfect :)

 * Insert image and smilies result in a "broken image" in the editor.  If I look at the html and paste the image path in the browser url it works fine..  I tried both image dialogs (gallery and the other one).
 * When inserting a URL the html code looks fine, but it isn't shown correctly like a link in the wysiwyg editor.

Both those issues point to correct html but bugged display in the editor itself.  And yes I did a complete refresh (ctrl+f5), many times :)
