Right - Now we are back to where we were. As near as I can tell, you are asking me to:
"To enable the details of this specific error message
to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors>
tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root
directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag
should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off"."
Right? Is that what you want me to do or am I missing something here?
I did that and replied: "I created the web.config file and copied it to the webroot, the
dotnetgallery folder and the dotnetgallery_files folder - no change"
Then you said: "I am not asking you recreate the web.config file."
And then I said: "What are you asking me to do then?"
So - the question is: If you don't want me to "recreate the web.config file" please identify what part of it you ARE asking me to do?
Please, rather than continuing to show utter disdain for your customer - please just take a minute and type a clear response.
Thank you,
-Doug
