I've found Safari to be a totally unreliable browser, we have two macs with seemingly identical setups (OSX + Safari 1.3) on one CuteEditor works fine and on the other it just seems to do odd things.

 

It's not just CuteEditor though, I've found that my own JavaScript controls have unexpected behaviour on this odd ball browser. And it's not just this one machine, I have clients which report these things happening to me also. Luckily I have a box I can test and work around these problems on. I have no idea how to replicate the configuration though.

 

I recommend that whenever possible people should use FireFox.

 

Since the release of IE 7, Safari can now take the throne of most uncompatible browser. Lets hope Apple get in to gear and release a new version soon.
