OK, i have investigated into this problem a bit further:

 

1st of all, when working on your web site i get it right - the symbols appear just as they should.

 

the difference is the code. when putting windings symbole in your editor the generated code is span tag with correct font attribute while in my application the code doesn't give the right font or dons't specifiy font at all but only span tags.

 

any idea ?
