Pasted in Word doc, then ran clean up, then in HTML mode, tried to replace all instances of </p> with <br> and CE scrolled to the bottom of the doc, but didn't properly replace instances of </p>. In fact, it replaced with blank instead of <br>

 

Next replaced <p> with blank. The result was that all sentences and paragraphs ran together with no breaks at all.

 

Why doesn't this work properly?
