It worked on the first try but I note that when I first went into the page the editor was not readonly (the radio button was on true, but I could type in text in the editor itself).

 

I then clicked on false, then true then false again, and I could type in text, but selecting a word and then clicking on the font color or background color buttons didnt change the color of the font or background.  Again the other buttons seem to work (bold, italics, etc), just not the font and background color buttons.
