Very interesting. I too have had problems with IE crashing and reported it here, but had no resolution!

 

We shall be shortly testing this theory and will report how it goes.... So far I can report that the jscript.dll versions are old on the machines that crash. Unfortunately getting this updated will be a chore, but at least we can point a finger now....
