Editor not displaying in DataList in design mode in VS

    Editor not displaying in DataList in design mode in VS

    Hi

    The editor control will not display in my DataList during design mode. I get the error ‘There was an error rendering the control. Check to make sure all properties are valid.’ Yet when I access my DataList using the smart tab – Edit Templates function, I can see the editor.
    Any help welcome.
