It is possible to use the built in html to pdf option to directly export html to pdf without showing the editor on the screen?

 

What I want to do is export some html to pdf on the click of a button/icon

The html being 'fed' into the pdf export method and then allowing me to stream to the user as a file, rather than me having to place the editor on the screen and putting the icon on that.
