If I create an image with MSPaint and save it as the supported image file types (.bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif) the files will upload if they are within the constraints of size, dimensions and type.   If the images are saved exactlyt he same size, dimensions and type in another editor such as Paint .NET the file will throw an exception upon upload.

Is there something about the compression that gets checked by CuteEditor's scripting while the file uploads? Is it possible to open up this functionality?
