I use as my template exactly what is in the downloadable version.  However every time I enquire about an issue I'm instructed to add or try new entries eg: modifications in the web.config or adding a new folder called 'UploaderTemp'.

 

What I want in order for CuteEditor to behave as it did in version 6.0 is a set of instructions spelling out the best practice setup.

Is it possible to get version 6.0?

 

My problems are to do with incredibly slow or failing in uploading of files.  I've written my own routines for uploading and they work simply and quickly so cannot understand why CE won't achieve the same outcome.

 

That's better ... got that off my chest.  But would dearly love to settle this beast down so I can have confidence to include it in my applications.

 

Any suggestions?

(I'm using vs2008, Windows XP, CuteEditor 6.4)
