We did add Google Map Entry in Web.config file undear <appsettings></appsettings>.
I have a question. After the changes, do we need to build the client console and operators need to install new build?

You should install the latest operator client and open
LiveSupport.exe.config and set <add key="GoogleMapKey" value="" />. It will hide google map.
