2. Does it work with Internet Explorer 8? 

        It support IE5+,Firefox 1.0+, Mozilla 1.3+, Netscape 7+, Opera 9.x and Safari (1.3+), and Chrome

3.  Also, can you easily configure fonts and type styles in it?
