Overall this solution is far superior to any other online editor that we have used, and our project is almost ready for release.

 

One issue that I need to resolve is the background color for the layer. Layers are by far the easiest method for positioning both text and panels, but I have a problem when WHITE text is used, because when editing the layer the background turns to white which hides the text making it difficult to edit.

 

Ideally I want to remove that background color completely, but how?
