CuteEditor is a great product. We use the 3.0 version as a component within an educational application, a LCMS, as several developers do. We have invested several hours to modify the version 3.0 in order to implement it into our application. In fact, not only we modified it, but we have added some functions that increase the power and flexibility of CuteEditor. However, the Javascript code is now encrypted in the new 4.0 version. For the mods we did, we are now forced to purchased a 2000$ licence or do things differently.

 

Sorry for the comment, but it is a little bit frustrating.
