  • Getting editor to apply styles to highlighted text based on selected CssClass DropDown item

I have spent a couple hours trying to figure this out, searched your documentation, looked through forums but for for the life of me, can't get it to work. --------------I am able to dynamically populate my CssClass drop down list just fine. The problem is, when I highlight some text in the Editor Window then select a CssClass to apply to it, ...

  • Re: Printed output being shrunk

Adam,   Further information on this issue. It seems that if an image is added to the content, CE automatically shrinks the image to fit the page width. In so doing, CE also shrinks the font size and everything else.   For example, in your general.aspx, add a 14pt sentence to a new page, then print it. It will print ...

  • Re: CE failing in many ways.

Adam: James,   For the font color issue, it's about reformatting the span style. Please check the following thread for details:   http://cutesoft.net/forums/post/18872.aspx   Ok, this answers my question about adding multiple levels of formatting but has nothing to do with a) why I can't change the default font/highlight ...

  • Flaws - how to correct them?

If we are trying to use CuteEditor as a word processor, text editor or HTML editor or whatever, we would reasonably expect it to act like a familiar word processor.   One of the characteristics of any word processor or text editor is that new settings selected on the fly ALWAYS START after the cursor position and only apply to ...

  • Annoying change in 5.0

In the previous versions of CuteEdit, I placed the editor within a <TD> of a table, and set a class to that td for style. The CuteEditor inherited style within the editor text area for this style. It now appears that this has changed and it no longer inherits, or it could be that there is not a property I need to set to do ...

  • Too many editors!

I, like many of you in this forum I'm sure, have spent a long time searching for the right wysiwyg editor. As you may know, there are dozens, if not hundreds of them out there. So far I have yet to find the ''perfect'' editor. If I could somehow combine the functions of several editors I'd be in business. The cuteEditor is by far the best ...
