• CuteEditor keeps removing Non-Breaking spaces. ( )

Any ideas? We have some empty table cells that need a lone non-breaking space in them in order to maintain spacing and border styles. We add these in either text or numeric form for XHTML compliance. We Save and things look great. BUT... next time we go into the Cute Editor with the content, it has ''helped'' us by removing all the ...

  • Re: CuteEditor & DotNetNuke access right problem

Adam, Can you try something other than localhost? My local machine is fine as well but any of the 4 remote servers I have tried all have this same problem. I'm wondering is CuteEditor might be in the GAC or something on your local machine? No other modules have this issue, it is only the CuteEditor using DNN 2.1.2 I have not tried ...

  • Re: Problem with DNN and CuteEditor Styles

Adam, Thanks. On another note, the new DNN provider attempts to bring in the portal.css however the pathing at runtime appears to be incorrect as it look for ''/portal.css'' rather than /portals/0/portal.css. Also, why not make it also read in the current skin css for the portal as this is what most folks are using for site ...

Adam, Do you know if the 4.0.0.4 provider fixes the child portal issue? I am unable to find any release notes on 4.0.0.4 to know what it fixes. Any link? Thanks

  • Problem with DNN and CuteEditor Styles

Adam, Running into a problem where we have a skin for a portal that when the CuteEditor is used, all the toolbars are spaced VERY far apart vertically. The control and the theme toolbar backgrounds are then off as well. Problem is that the CSS is dynamically created with your control so I cannot simply copy the style sheet ...

  • Re: CuteEditor & DotNetNuke access right problem

Ok, we have confirmed that the problem goes away when accessing a portal as a parent portal (i.e. http://www.portal.com) but when accessing using same account but as a child portal (i.e. http://www.host.com/portal), problem returns.

We just started noticing the same thing here yesterday! Is it possible there is a problem with the CuteEditor Provider and child portals? We are only seeing this behavior in child portals.

  • Re: How to integrate CuteEditor for .NET with the DotNetNuke 2.0?

Goodness, it really is so simple I thought I'd just go ahead and post the code that's needed. Of course this needs to be in a new project with references to DNN and CuteEditor, etc.... standard provider stuff: Keep in mind this is really basic and there is more to do if you want to take advantage of other options but should give you a good ...

  • Re: How to integrate CuteEditor for .NET with the DotNetNuke 2.0?

Adam, I saw the DNN 2 integration concepts and by performing the core changes, it should work well. I was wondering if any has created a Private Assembly plug-in for DNN 2 that allows the CuteSoft editor to be an option for the HTML provider. This would mean ''plug-n-play'' for DNN users and your product. I know I read some posts that ...
