Torquemada, If you have a choice, you should go with .NET version. There are two main reasons: 1. Cute Editor for .NET is already version 4.0, Cute Editor for ASP is still version 3.0. 2. The ASP version is a pure script solution. Many functions of .NET version can not be achieved in the ASP version.

  Hi Adam,   I have checked the value in our database and it is indeed ASCII encoded which is a good sign.   When we load a value from the DB we perform a HTML Decode on it, but this shouldn't convert the ASCII text over I wouldn't have thought.
