  • Javascript Access denied

I tried to add the CuteEditor to an existing web (as descript on “Deployment the CuteEditor for .NET” in help file), but even the examples doesn’t work. It's my first trial with this editor. An “Javascript Access denied” error appears and the editor is inactive, so that I could not enter text.  When using my ...

  • Re: Javascript onmouseover problems

WebsiteRepairGuys, Currently we don't have good solution to this issue. The onxxxevent is the always first event handler to be executed by the browser. If you set Editor.EnableStripScriptTags Property (Specifies whether to remove inject script before write the string into the db) to true,  you can click the HTML view ...

  • Accessing editor's text in javascript

Does the following work in version4?  I have not been able to get this to work in V4.  Re: accessing the editor's text in javascript (ASP version!) My apologies! After a more thorough search, I found exactly the answer I needed in a post from Adam: function getHTML() {    //Editor1 is the ID of the Editor  var ...

  • Inserting Into the Text Area with Javascript

I have a custom image uploading tool that I developed for CE 3.0 (your's wouldn't write out to a UNC path), and am having a good bit of difficulty adapting it to 4.0. I can't seem to find the best way to insert html into the textarea using Javascript like I did before. What do I need to do to insert HTML into the editor? Also, by chance, is ...

  • Javascript Pop Up Windows

Hello,   Is it possible to add JavaScript pop up windows in CuteEditor?  I know you can open pages in a new window by selecting ''New Window'' from as the target in the Insert Link dialog, but clients are sometimes fussy and don't want all the toolbars etc and also want it set at a certain size.   If anyone else ...

  • Multiple editors - tricky JavaScript?

I have multiple, dynamically generated editors on my ASP page. When I save the page, however, I need the Javascript to loop through each editor to execute the Save function. However, the Save function doesn't seem to accept a generated string and is looking for something hardcoded. Is this true? Know of a workaround? Here's my ...

  • Re: JavaScript sintaxis error in IE8

Hi:  Here I am again. Like I say in the las message, the administrator reinstall OS of the ''corrupted'' computers, but today says me that the ''error'' persist and one more thing: with the Optenet (www.optenet.com) disabled, the editor works great, but when its running throws the js error. The optenet is used to filter internet, so: the ...

  • Re: Javascript Syntax Error/Object Not found

I made a sample project, but unfortunately it is working on that.  I can't send you a link to the project with an error.  The only thing I can think of is the page that is using the IFRAME to call our project is on a different server/domain than our project.  Have you had any issues with this scenario?
