Peter,   In the second image dialog, media dialog, flash dialog and file gallery dialog, there is a delete button which allows you delete the files uploaded.   http://phphtmledit.com/EnableAll.php   You can check this example.   However the delete funtion is disabled in the online demo.

I cannot reproduce on your sample page. I'm assuming it's because it uses Silverlight. Do you have a sample page which uses Flash? I'm using IE 9.
