Skatematic,   We haven't decided yet. I agree it's a useful  feature. We will find a better solution when we redesign the dialog in the version 6.0.

I agree. But due to the PC security issue, it's impossible to control over File browse dialog default directory of a client machine on the server side.

Adam, your example does not work in IE7: page just postbacks, and in Opera 10.53: ''File browsing dialog has been blocked'' when trying download a second file.  And what about the first error in the build 3.0 20100512 ?
