  • Using asp.net's ~/ URL feature

Is there anyway to make the URLs from inserted media (images, flash swf's, etc.) non-application specific.  I have set UseRelativeLinks = true and RemoveServerNamesFromUrl = true, but my resulting URLs include my application.   I need to be able to transfer content created on the dev server to the production server.  However, the ...

  • Using my own Submit button with Cute Editor and ASP.NET

I would like to be able to use my own Submit button with the Cute Editor on an ASP.NET page, rather than the default Submit button that comes with the Cute Editor. I need to be able to process other fields on the page along with the data from the Cute Editor at the time the page is posted back to the server. Is this possible?

  • Re: asp.net 2.0 medium trust compatibility

I think you mean Adam, not Scott.   Actually it seems to work in asp.net 2.0 in situations where the web sites are not set to medium trust (or lower). In a shared hosting environment, in order for security, they will (or should be) set to medium trust or lower. This is where the control has an issue. Adam has indicated they are going to ...

  • Re: Cute Editor .NET Licensing Question

What about Small Business License $299? This Small Business license allows the use of CuteEditor .NET for up to 10 domain/subdomain names deployed by a single company. You don't have to submit 10 names all at once. Start with a couple and then add more gradually without a deadline. The 10 names can ...

  • Re: Redistribution license for cute editor for .NET

Hi Tyrone,   1. Source code License gives you access to source code, not Redistribution license.   2. CuteEditor for .NET server control can be used both in C# and VB code. Actually it can become part of Visual Studio Toolbox that you can drag-n-drop like other standard server controls.   3. This is the line you include in ...

  • Re: CuteEditor asp.net - databound in FormView - Text property not updating

Scratch the previous message -- I was using IE 9 when running localling, and Firefox 5 when looking at our staging server.  I've done some more testing, and the problem isn't local vs staging, it's browser version.  The save function does not work in IE 9.  It works fine in Firefox 5 and Chrome 12.  Also, IE 9 in IE 8 mode ...
