• V 6.0 programming dropdowns

I just upgraded to 6.0 I extensively use the facility for programming the dropdown menus (links, images etc) and it does not work in v6.0 To test this, I use the default.asp file in the distribution files. This shows all the buttons on the toolbar as well as various dropdown menus. This works perfectly as is. If you go ...

  • Re: Changing default values for insert table

Yep... I figured that much out for myself... In fact I went a bit further and set the default width to 95%, which is where I like to start these days. To do that, I had to change the width part to read ''width:95\x25'' But I would really like to change the default number of rows to 1 and leave the number of cols at 2. ...

Hi there ... I would like to configure the editor so that when I click the ''Insert Table'' icon, It will default to 1 row, 2 columns, 95% width, 0 pixels border ... I have been playing around with insert_table.asp but cannot figure out how to create the above settings. Can you tell me how I can do this? ..Rick..

Hey Jessie... Version 4 does not throw this error, but it does not have some of the nice features of version 5. Specifically for my site, in v4, the links are either not there or don't work as well as V5, and for sure the images (should) work better in V5.

Well what do you propose I do then? This software is a little buggy for prime-time. Did you look at the URLs I mentioned above and see the exact error message? It's meaningless to me, but it may give you a clue as to where the problem is. Don't just flush this with the ''we cannot recreate it so it's your problem'' ... Another ...

Sure is quiet in tech support land. Got any news on this problem? Have you tried duplicating it with the info I have supplied?

  • Where do I download the latest version of the software?

Cute Editor for ASP 5.0 is what I have... how do I know what the latest hotfix/patched version is and where can I get it ... do you have some mechanism for letting your clients know if a hotfix version is available? I didn't even get a notification that V5.0 was released, for heaven's sake. ..Rick..

  • Re: We can't reproduce the problems.

OK Now I can reproduce the problem at will and make it stop at will. Here's the deal. The above site, http://cute.bbexpo.com/cute5/default.asp works ok if there is no *functional* error 404 page defined in the ''Custom Errors'' tab. I created a file called error404.htm that contains this code: ...

Rick the original guy here. I have spent a couple hours on this problem today and I don't have an answer yet. But here's what I do know. http://www.bbexpo.com/cute5/default.asp contains all the distribution files and exhibits the problem. Click the link, or add a picture and then double click on it. Another site I ...
