Re: editor defaulting to <br> instead of <p>
DanT_MMC IMO using a br as a break element will cause you problems. Some of the editor tools do not work properly, in particular the numbered and bulleted lists. For specific details look at this post: http://cutesoft.net/forums/10464/ShowPost.aspx I am still waiting for an answer to my post from the ...

Re: Insert Link without showing URL
That's not quite what I was looking for. Perhaps an example will help describe the problem better: The first thing a user does in a CuteEditor session is press the Insert Hyperlink tool bar button () He enters a value in the URL textbox: http://www.cutesoft.net Presses OK and a hyperlink (<a> element) is inserted into the editor ...

Re: PasteHTML
I'm having a similar problem in that the editor loses focus during hyperlink insertion and then pastes the link in at the beginning of the editor window. I am doing something different however. Re: Custom Begin Tag Removed using PasteHTML
I downloaded the trial version of Cute Editor.NET to test it on .NET 2.0 framework. I found a problem about custom tags too. I set Editor1.BreakElement = CuteEditor.BreakElement.P, so I can use <P> instead of <DIV>. There is the problem: type in <p><placeholder>[[First Name]]</placeholder></p> ...

Re: Using cute editor for asp.net in pure html
Cute Editor is not a pure JavaScript solution. There are many security settings must be set in the server side. The client code is also dynamically created. Cute Editor is available in ASP.NET, Classic ASP and PHP. Hope it helps.

Re: Totally Trashing my Links, Why???
OK -- maybe I have painted myself into a corner. The page source code I am editing is in a different directory than the editor.aspx that invokes cute editor. Now using v3.0, I was able to pre-process all <img> and <a> tag href parameters and correct them to absolute links before stuffing the source into Cute Editor. ...
