HI marvin,
I still do not understand which API you used to set content for editor. The Rich TextEditor has "SetText()", "InsertHTML()", "InsertText()" and "PasteHTML()" which can set the content for editor by javascript. Which one you are using?

Yes, it will rest of the 5M. But this mode only work with Silverlight upload mode, it means your browser must has the silverlight plug-in installed and set the silverlight to primary upload mode.

Yes, we have checked the implementation, it has no problem. this is by design. And I have tried the online demo with the Insert Gallery function, I did not got any error there too. Can you post your IE11 version number? I tested on win 8.1 IE11.0.9600.16476
