Hi Ken: Thanks for the demo code. Using this code, it inserts the new text from the dialog window by replacing the existing highlighted text in the parent window. We need to pass the highlighted text from the parent window to the dialog window and then insert the new text while keeping the highlighted text .

I really need to set a maximum value to the height & width parameters of images users are editing since they are creating havoc in my html layout by displaying images far too big.   I don't want to restrict images uploaded only the properties *after* they have been uploaded! (fyi I use my custom upload script)

I am not sure what the Upload button in the insert image dialog is for.  When I press it, nothing happens.  What I was hoping is that it would allow me to browse to an image file on my system, then upload it to one of the image directories on my web site (the directories shown in the insert image dialog).  Please advise.  Thank ...

how is your listbox declared?  Is it set with autopostback= true?  Is it also set with a value for OnSelectedIndexChanged?   It sounds like you've got an event handler issue.  Can you set a breakpoint inside the code you posted and hit it?

Dominic,   Yes.   Open the CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Dialogs/InsertImage.Frame.aspx file.   Change the following code: <asp:Label Runat=''server'' ID=''FolderDescription''></asp:Label>   to   <asp:Label Runat=''server'' ID=''FolderDescription'' Visible=''false''></asp:Label>

The problem is now solved. The reason for it was that the web hotel provider forced all applications to run in the low trust level. Now it is running in the full trust level and works fine. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help.

Hi pjs75,   For now has not the property to set this. By default, the windows system will remember the last location you uploaded. but this is the system function.   Regards,   Ken 

I should specify that a text selection includes the anchor tag, while an image selection doesn't.  So my issue is only when an image is selected in the editor retrieving the anchor for it.

Hello,   I cannot find any documentation which can help me create a custom dialog box which will retun pre-formatted text or event user entered text back to the editor at the exact spot that the cursor was when the user selected my custom button.   Can someone point me in the right direction?   Many thanks,   D.
