changing cutesoft_client\cutechat folder names
I copied all the files from web directory to the website root folder. And then I wanted to rename CuteSoft_Client/CuteChat to Client/Chat. Also changed the live operator.config.exe as follows <configuration xmlns=''http://schemas.microsoft.com/.NetConfiguration/v2.0''> ...

Can't get CuteEditor to work in DotNetNuke
I can't get the latest CuteEditor to work in DotNetNuke 4.8.2. I followed the instructions in the documentation. First, where's ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll mentioned in the docs? It's not in CuteEditor_for_NET6.zip nor in NukeEdit4.zip. I made the changes to web.config. I copied the bin files to the bin folder and the ...

Re: Using error webmessenger
The problem seems to be CuteChat's interference with your own portal system. Are you able to find a plain .net framework, without your portal to setup a CuteChat/Messenger demo? Once the new demo works, we can move it to your site with a thorough check on your web.config I've sent an email to me with an action plan. Keep me ...

Why is FilesPath obsoleted?
Hi, In version 6, the FilesPath property is obsolete and replaced with a key in appSettings. Why is this the case? I am evauating CuteEditor for redistribution in a commercial application. I do not want to use the default directory for CuteEditor files. However, I only want the appSettings section of the application's ...

Re: Users getting CH_MainForm.aspx error
Duke, I ran into the same issue. After trial and error I found. The <add key=''CuteChat.DisableZipCompress'' value=''true'' /> needs to go on line two of your web.config file immediately below the <configuration> tag. I tried it every where else in there and would get errors. It now works for ...

Re: Chinese Text
I have 3 text fields on the page as it is currently. Two regular textboxes that both save correctly to ''Nvarchar'' fields in the database. I then have the editor as the third field on the same page which saves to an ''ntext'' field in the database. If I put the same text in all three, the first two normal textboxes save and ...
