With help of mr. Kenneth we found the problem if anybody else need it. On the handler page one must specify the temp file

directory also, not just in the main file.

I get it in both Firefox 3 and IE 7. If I
upload
a small file (less than 200MB) it works perfectly. The strange thing is that the point where it breaks is never the same - usually though it's somewhere between 300-400.
